Seen on W 48th Street - thought the wheels were filthy, but no - powder coated in black, methinks. Vehicle filthy, and with 20 plus empty water bottles inside. Did the unthinkable - took out the license plate b/c I don’t want the owner to get shit upon. But fuck me running- nice car turned into a shitbox when neglected:

Well yeah - this is a car that I would own if I needed one - sure, it’s a Camry, but the roof goes down, and it’s not a pig on the road, you might be able to toss it around a bit ... but there you have it. And those wheels ...

I have a predisposition to hate these after a beige (of course) one rear-ended (and totaled) my ‘03 crown vic sitting in construction traffic (bastard didn’t even consider slowing down).

Turn off traction control and burnouts. Hilarious fun with any Camry based luxobarges.

Have Solara, can confirm. I never expected a Camry platform car to be this fun.

Parking spot, parking brake, standing burnouts with very little to none wheel hop.

I always thought the first gen Solara was a nice design, but the second gen just doesn’t work for me

A convertible? Those things are thin on the ground, but just as aggravating if it was the hardtop.

Hardtop solara. Like I said, totalled my crown vic but you can imagine the shape his car was in too.
